Farida Kathawalla has dedicated her life to empowering women and girls, particularly in regions where they endure the most complex vulnerabilities. Throughout her journey, she has served as an advisor to diverse organizations. A philanthropist at heart, she is an esteemed board member of several nonprofits and the co-founder of a women’s giving circle, the ‘Circle of Hope’.
She believes that women must support one another to develop the skills necessary for economic independence and social confidence, while also helping to cultivate the next generation of female leaders and trailblazers. Currently, she serves on the board of the United Nations Association of Greater Boston. Most recently, she co-chaired the “Community Development in India” Giving Circle, a collaboration between Dasra and the Network of Engaged International Donors (NEID).
