Kranti Khode’s journey has been shaped by experiences of caste-based marginalization and familial roles in caste-assigned occupations. Drawing on her lived experiences, she became a part of Jan Sahas Social Empowerment Society to work with communities facing violence, exploitation and exclusion. Her work spans across initiatives of health, gender-based violence, unsafe migration and labour conditions, sexual exploitation and trafficking. Kranti holds a Masters in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences and an LLB, grounding her work in both lived experience and academic training.
