Rebuild India Fund provides long-term, flexible grants to strengthen institutional, organizational and programmatic resilience of NGOs in the country. This is to ensure that those closest to the challenges have the necessary resources, autonomy, and power to drive lasting change.
The Fund believes in placing power and trust in the hands of communities that drive change at the grassroots. Our portfolio partners are changemakers leading transformative, community-driven work. Guided by trust-based philanthropy, we design our grant-making process collaboratively, grounding every decision in the lived experience of those driving change on the ground.
We support organizations and leaders across remote and underserved regions of India supporting the most vulnerable communities and underserved groups. The organizations work on a wide range of social issues and thematic areas including Gender, Livelihood, Child Protection, Health, Education, Climate and Ecology, Research and Capacity Building, Social Inclusion and WASH.
